Our Work in the World
|
ancient wisdom & modern ethics

1. Care of Earth
We are ecological stewards and integrate care of the earth in farmstead projects, in our designs in NC and on the lands we help steward elsewhere. We work with the natural patterns, resources and limitations of the land, seasons and cycles.
We believe in healing the land and letting the land heal us.
2. Care of People
Farmers are the best "healers" and we raise food and medicine in harmony. We create a safe space for emotional processing & a productive positive environment and strive to take good care of our selves, beloveds, workers, clients, interns, neighbors, and communities.
We communicate with love, respect and collaboration in all our relationships.
3. Share the Abundance
We utilize surplus and on-site resources in growing our farmstead and in our offerings. Whenever possible we barter for materials or buy within our local community.
We grow all we can for our family, friends and animals, and continue to learn and discover the amazing biodiversity on this land and beyond. We integrate the foods and medicines of the forest into our daily diets and offerings and consider the best care for the people and the Earth in all our decisions.
honor the sacred with each step
