how many times have we all said, "where have the years gone..."? we invite you to our farm to celebrate in our land stewardship of twenty years. elizabeth began her stay on the land in July 1999 & together with Lisa, Landrum, Aydan, Mike & so many wonderful beloveds we've evolved & transformed this land with the help of incredible humans, animals, plants & mysteries. this gathering is as much about YOU as it is for our family. we delight in sharing this land, & we are eager to bring you together for such a joyful inspired gathering.

Wednesday July 31st 4pm-on...
Opening Circle Potluck at the farm with live music with Melissa Reaves & Special Friends! Thursday August 1st All Day Story telling, DIY skillshares, chillax on the pond, forest walking, be together in love! we have a fine cob mix ready for working on the final decorative layer of the cob oven if we have some eager artists...design is a surprise!! please let us know if you have a skill, craft, etc., that you'd like to share & we'll make space to learn & grow together. also if you need any materials or support, please let us know. Friday August 2nd All Day New River Float, evening cookout & Passion Show meet at 10:30am, Rivergirl in Todd, NC if you need a tube & want to catch the shuttle or meet by 11am at Green Valley Park put-in, & we can help shuttle after the trip. approximately 3 hours. tube rentals are about $10 for our group & $5 for the shuttle if you have your own tube. Passion Show...share with us a talent, skill, story, or whatever moves you around the fire tonight. Saturday August 3rd All Day Skill-shares, forest walks, & chillaxing on the farm & pond with afternoon community pizzas & potluck, music jam & bonfire! Sunday August 4th Morning til Afternoon Brunch around 11 & enjoying time together with those who are still here!! |

easy-up shade tents outdoor chairs, tables, swings or other furniture floats & pond toys off-grid lighting toilet paper charcoal Aydan really wants a trampoline since ours has passed on... also food & coffee donations are greatly appreciated!! we're planning to get a keg of cider & 1 of beer, but donated booze would be so yummy!!! sharing your time is especially meaningful & we'll have several party prep days, so please join us if you can. we'll be prepping campsites, adding railing on the deck, setting up outdoor cooking & wash spaces, painting signs...and tons more! gratitude & appreciation for your shared abundance |
here's a bit more information about food, camping, activities, etc.
food: we want to accommodate a variety of diets; if you have special diet requests, please let us know. most of the gathering will be potluck style, but we have a loose menu planned, so let us know if you want suggestions of items to bring.
camping/glamping: we have a couple of tents to loan & a few spaces in the bunkhouse available, but no bedding so please bring your own.
helpful items: flashlights, batteries, camera, hammock, float for the pond, footwear for rugged terrain & farm living.
really really free market: if you have something you're ready to let go of, we'll have a space for giveaway trade, etc.
artisans: we have a couple of folks who've asked about sharing their crafted goods, & we'd love to make space for this & we'll have a few woodland harvest goods available also.
